PREMIER SERIES CLASSIC

“Always do things right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.” – Mark Twain

As with all Bergara Premier Series rifle, the Premier Classic Rifle is built with the finest materials, and the quality you are used to seeing in a fine gun collection. The Classic Rifle features a Premium 416 stainless steel Bergara barrel (#3 taper), which receives a proprietary honing process at our barrel-making facility, and then continues through another four stages of production to produce the most accurate production barrel we could possibly make.  Upon completion, the barrel receives a Cerakote™ finish and is coupled with the Bergara PREMIER action, all of which is completed at our facility in Lawrenceville, GA USA.

The Bergara Premier Classic Rifle is built to show off the beauty that so many of us look for in a true classic rifle.  The Rifle features a high-grade, hand-rubbed oil finish, Grade 5+ Walnut Monte Carlo Stock.  This Walnut stock is custom engineered and built by a group of true craftsmen.  These are craftsman who can take a look at a piece of raw wood, see straight through the dust and dirt, and immediately see what beauty exists underneath.  The Walnut is finished with the utmost quality, and combined with Bergara’s Premier Action finally revealing a rifle that can to be passed on for generations.

The Classic Rifle uses the Bergara Premier Action.  This action is designed as a two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action.  It also features a cone-shaped bolt nose for smooth feeding of the cartridge, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. The bolt’s body is a one-piece stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accept the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt head, the non-rotating gas shield, the bolt handle, and bolt shroud are fully Nitrided for extreme durability as well as its self-lubricating properties.
The two-position safety is part of the trigger assembly, which is a Timney 510 curved trigger.  One great feature of this combination allows the bolt handle not to lock in the closed position, which in turn allows the rifle to be unloaded while in the safe position. The Classic comes standard with a hinged floor plate, and offers two barrel lengths, a 22” Bergara Barrels on Short Action Calibers, and a 24” Bergara Barrel on Long Action Calibers.

Every Premier Series Rifle is qualified for accuracy prior to leaving our facility.  Each rifle must shoot three consecutive 3-shot groups, all sub-1.0 MOA to qualify.  Once completed, we included a copy of the target itself, as well as the information on the factory load used, the date, and the shooter who qualified this rifle.

All Premier Series rifles are guaranteed to produce sub-MOA groups with factory match grade ammunition.

The Classic rifle starts at $2,190.
