Eric’s father (Mark Hendricks) was a gunsmith in his early career and Eric spent most of his free time with dad in the shop and on the range.  This is how he got hooked on rifles and shooting.  An avid shooter since he took his first shot at age 4, Eric took his favorite hobby into his work like when, at age 19, he began his career with BPI Outdoors – the parent company of Bergara Custom Rifles.   After several years in BPI’s Customer Service Depatment, he moved into the custom rifles area as soon as Bergara Custom Rifles was formed in 2012, where extensive experience with firearms, stocks, optics, and accessories made him a natural for the position of Sales Specialist.  In this position, Eric is the main inside contact for Bergara’s customers, assisting them in every way possible regarding the design of their dream rifles.  As might be expected, his main free time activities are shooting and hunting.
